To Make ◊ Easy Peasy Waffles
Who said waffles are only for breakfast?!?
Could eat these all day with all sorts of toppings.
Super simple, done super fast.
Easy Peasy Waffles
150 gr. oatmeal
150 gr. spelt flower (you can use buckwheat, quinoa, ... if you want as well)
300 ml. almond milk (I used the Almond Joy by JUS JUS which is probably the best I ever had!)
Pinch of sea salt
Pinch of cinnamon
About 3 tsp. of baking powder
It simply can’t get any easier:
Put all ingredients in a large bowl and whisk everything together.
Or even faster: Put everything in a blender and blend untill you have a smooth and thick batter.
Preheat your waffle iron and use some coconut oil (or butter) so the batter does not stick to the iron.
Pour in the batter.
Wait about 4-5 minutes untill waffles are crisp and golden brown.
Eat waffles. Relax. Enjoy.
I used my homemade blueberry - strawberry - rhubarb jam as topping but you can go as crazy as you want by adding shredded coconut, melted chocolate, some roasted almonds, ...
You’ll get about 8-10 waffles. Store in the fridge if you got some leftovers (hard to imagine, i know) and put them in the toaster the next morning, afternoon, evening, ... !
